Thanks guys - I was thinking it was just me thinking it was expensive! He has normal shoes although does have 2 stud holes in each - £1.50 per stud hole. It was a new show which he had to put on.....

I would be tempted to say that 2 horses with 14 acres you would not need to poo pick. I've only recently had to poo pick where there is very little grazing. In the past (when my horses have been in large fields) the fields would get harrowed once a year which helps disperse poo and worms. When...

My horse got a new set of shoes 3 weeks ago at a cost of £85. 3 weeks later he loses a hind shoe and the farrier charges me £38 to put a new one back on. Is it me or is this expensive?
