Thanks Stencilface. Out of interest, which Valley Equestrian fibre did you go for? I see they have 3 types.

Which fibre to add to arena

I'm currently getting a silica sand and fibre arena installed but unsure on which fibre would be best. There's so many! Any recommendations appreciated.

Feeding the event horse - stamina without fizz

I'd be reaaly interested to know what other people feed their horses. My lad on Frickers Formula which is great as it keeps the weight on and keeps him sane. However, feel i need to top this up with something else as he lacks stamina even though he can be fizzy. Past experience has shown he may...

    Slim leg breeches

I am looking for good quality breeches. Beige, size 12/14 and full seat. My problem is I have quite a big waist/tummy but skinny legs! Any breeches that fit my waist are then quite baggy and wrinkly on my legs. My legs are more like that of a size 8/10! Would be most grateful for any...

In the past (when my horses have been in large fields) the fields would get harrowed once a year which helps disperse poo and worms. When...

    Cost of 1 shoe

My horse got a new set of shoes 3 weeks ago at a cost of £85. 3 weeks later he loses a hind shoe and the farrier charges me £38 to put a new one back on. Is it me or is this expensive?
