I've been to both Netherwylde and Equitopia and really enjoyed both of them! The staff were fantastic at both, although one had slightly higher turn over than the other. Staff tend to have set horses they look after at each yard which is a big positive. Both yards were very confident in handling...
I think only Equitopia fits this criteria. I think their new American barn has automatic heat sensor windows, club house, fancy indoor etc. Netherwlyde is lovely, you can turn out in small groups if requested or other owners are looking to have a friend in with theirs.

Not necessarily true! I have a traditional Gelderlander, jumps 1.10s and schools at medium. Incredible adjustable stride, so much power and very level headed. Maybe I was very lucky with him, but i would highly recommend the breed for riding horses!

There is a lovely yard called Kims Equestrian and there are lots around Gaddesden but they aren't really on facebook. I think you'd be better off driving up there and popping in.

Hi Scruffyponies. Thank you for getting back to me! This is more to take my horse with me rather than loan him to the collage, so hopefully wouldn't be having any of the above issues. But that is slightly worrying to hear!
Is anyone aware of the turnout situation for livery horses?
Ive had experience of colleges having a 'rotated turn out' actually mean '2 hours 3 times a week', so wanting to know if anyone has experience of their turnout vs. their website?
I was in a similar position to you not so long ago with my new mare that carries a serious bronc. After 5 falls in 2 weeks I stripped everything back, only hacked in company for a while, lunging and ground work for a month and started at basics. I rewarded good behaviour with treats.
