Just an update. Following this thread I decided to give the ReoLink camera a go, and I am super impressed. We are in a rural area and dont have 4G signal, but its working really well on 3G with the Vodaphone VSIM supplied with the kit. The camera was super easy to set up and the app is excellent, allowing very easy naviagtion for settings and viewing options. The night vision is astonishing, the two infra red LED's are tiny, and I thought that they would be useless, but they illumite the stables 15 metres away, I have even been back and checked its not getting illumination from somewhere else!!
This is our humble yard, with Yonky posing for the camera (since the photo was taken I have moved the position of the date and time print to the bottom of the screen to make it clearer).
Ours live out, with open access to their stables, and the camera has already shown some interesting patterns of when they decide to use the stable, particularly that when its smashing it down with rain, they don't give two hoots!
