I would absolutely love Snow Leopardess or Rachel or to win but have opted for the reckless betting strategy with each ways on Run Wild Fred and Freewheelin Dylan ??

De Bromhead's horses weren't firing yesterday. It's a huge ask to win 2 Grand Nationals.

I actually haven't really looked at the final Dec's. I would love Snow Leopardess to win though! Not just for the mares but for the greys and for the small guys!

I've organised a sweepstake at work as being able to raise funds for a charity dear to my heart that my old Dad died of outweighs the distaste I have for this event.

I won't be betting myself having made a donation instead, but I am just praying that all the horses come home.
For some strange reason I am particuarly drawn towards Snow Leopardess.

Not everyone agrees with racing or with the National and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have worked in the game for nearly 18 years and there are most certainly parts of it I do not agree with. I hope you enjoy your Saturday ?

I've put my usual yearly GN bet (only time I bet) of the grand total of £1 each way on Discorama, Run Wild Fred and Éclair Surf

I'd quite like to see Sam W-C win in his last race. Can't warm to snow leopardess and how they brought her back after having a foal.

I don't agree with Blaklion running in it at 13 and how they keep flogging Anibale Fly

I'd be a useless racehorse owner I'd want to retire it to keep it safe!

I hope Snow Leopardess doesn't stand off at Bechers the way she last time. I thought she was going to fall, and I expect "in the old days" she would. It was a bit reckless on behalf of the jockey but luckily they got away with it and went on to win, with much rejoicing.

Ditto......I have nothing against NH racing in general but can't bear the carnage of the Grand National - haven't watched it since Synchronised, who won the Gold Cup only a few weeks before, to then lose his life in the GN.

I never bet but, if I did, I'd probably go for Fred, simply because my Dad's a Fred, and because of the jockey onboard.

That aside, I usually pick my top three when watching them just before the race and, as a former showing enthusiast, admit here that I pick them entirely on their looks.
