2022 Grand National

thats sad about eclair surf, i had hoped he was ok... i must be jinxed as i entered the grand national sweepstake on itv and the horse i was allotted was discorama...he had a pelvic injury.... thats confirmed that i am bad luck for the national horses :( dont think i will be entering any more sweepstakes..

I saw a comment on twitter from someone saying they drove him to the equine hospital and all were very positive and hoping he’d recover. I can only imagine it was similar to some brain injuries in humans where they deteriorate within the first 12-24 hours. Horribly sad if it was thought he’d pull through to then lose him hours later ?
