After being scanned as a filly .. we have a colt 🤣 I was half asleep/ slightly stressed when he arrived and assumed he was a filly . How much of an idiot did I look when vet kept referring to him as a he !! Anyhow I blame the sleep deprivation.
Here’s Rocky born 5am yesterday has struggled a bit as he was a bit weak but is getting stronger every hour

Both mares and foals out together today . All went rather well . Pip the grey is the boss mare and is very relaxed about the whole thing , which is helping Nelly ( chestnut mare ) relax a little .
Considering Rocky wasn’t well/ strong last week he’s making up for it now . Boy can he gallop !

Eeeek so excited. All these foal pics are making me intensely broody.

Amber is now on Day 300. She is HUGE and bagging up a bit so I doubt she will go much over 320. Felix came at day 325.

I know 3 Legrande foals who all came on day 310 last year. Technically prem but vets were completely unconcerned and all were ttally fine wqithout intervention. (Including Felix's buddy Cass). So maybe Legrande babies are BIG and emerge promptly!

Felix is now 1. Happy birthday to him (last week).
