We had a long list of names but quite early on realised we had the privilege of choosing a name that was special to us and had meaning! However it’s hard not referring to her a BEAN because that’s what the girls called her bump mum & dad both warmbloods so the spice she is showing already fits her type

Very civilised birth at 9.30 pm, looking forward to a good nights sleep tonight after a week of checking webcam every few hours !
mum is Welsh x arab, dad is a cremello section c

What is it with these pally’s coming at reasonable hours! Ours was up and at the bar by 7.30pm on Saturday

Ana update, she is just over a month old, and growing like a weed. Happily living out full time with just her mum (who is doing a great job). Her planned foal friend unfortunately didn't make it after a complicated birth (not mine) but she seems happy. Confident putting on and taking off foal slip (has had to go down 4 holes since first putting it on!) And happy to pick up all 4 feet, getting better at learning to lead, but still a work in progress.

I’ve shown the very cute photo to my 2 mares to hope it makes them broody so they can get on with the job . One mare has wax and has lost mucus plug . Other has a bag big enough to feed a herd

We have a filly . Born 02.36 this morning, up within 5 mins and drinking within 20 . Never had one so quick ! So was able to go back to bed for a bit . Mum is being fabulous with her too
