I’m counting down for our 2026 foal, due mid April starting to get very excited and nervous for it. sire is Cos me is Black, and my Mare is a Connie/ID mix.

Shes Fast Silver, she’s only a shorty at 15.2 but probably the best horse you could have personality wise and is easy and reliable.

I did end up googling stallions for Mim but I know exactly what I want and it's a unicorn. So that's at least some reprieve for my finances.

I am trying not to look at foal pictures (or stallion catalogues) as we already have more horses than is sensible. We've bred 2 very nice ones from one of our mares, and have another mare with exceptional SJ breeding who hasn't (yet) had a foal.

I hadn't added my mare last year as she is still on breeding loan, but she is due April, and 'blossoming nicely'

My 2 are all good . Aria looks like she’s eaten a small horse at times. She’s huge, with lots of movement . She’s 297 days . Foal is a right wriggler . My daughter says it looks as if the foal is practising for BE80 already .
Pips foal is very quiet . I’ve had to really watch for movement . I was starting to worry she might have slipped it . But she’s definitely looking larger and I swear I saw some movement today . She’s about 289 days

Day 256 today and all going well so far 
Lots of movement and kicks being felt Getting bigger in the belly although the weighbridge this week said she’s the same weight as 7 weeks ago.
She’s getting a bit grumpier and has the odd look round at her belly and kick when it’s doing an Irish jig
2nd EHV vaccine done and started to very slowly up her rations.

After still seeing no foal movement in Pip and also no real belly . I called the vets and we agreed they will come out and scan her . I was going to book them in for this week . But , we’ve been watching her closely and have now seen the foal move . No where near as active as Arias foal . But definitely foal movement . Perhaps this one is just super chilled out !

My mare is grey so she could pretty much have any colour
I have a blue roan mare (on loan to a friend), she is beautiful and the range of colour throughout the year is impressive
