What a lovely thread! :D Not boring at all, and I do so love to see people who get real joy out of their horses, even if it's not every day (love that bucking photo btw... ;)).

Lovely pics! How lucky to have a friend/trainer that can ride like that he looks like an amazing rider, can I borrow him? ;)

Haha yes its brilliant. He very rarely uses that much energy when he doesn't have too...but when Matt started teaching him changes he just catapulted you into them! I have several photos of him doing very strange things when all he was asked for is a flying change...bless him!

He's lovely - how big is he?

Not really had a stick on him. I think he's about 15.1, he's bigger than Miss_C's Genie and she is measured at 15hh

Farma...Yes I am very lucky indeed, he was so dedicated when I was out of the saddle and I really owe him a lot.

Exactly this! Lovely post, and I chuckled at the bucking pic. He looks like he has the sort of buck that feels like sitting on a rocking horse (as opposed to the projectile sort :p)

Thats a very accurate description :D his bucks are not really much to behold, his rears however would make a Spanish Riding School horse jealous  he's only ever gone up with a rider twice but he is incredibly balanced when he does go up...sits very well

In my defence, I wasn't stood near him for either the nose band or net...the zip, well..I blame you for having a horse with such an entertaining top lip. :)

What a cracking looking cob, he looks like he is going really well. I will have owned mine 25 years this year. She was a top class show cob, did affiliated dressage to Medium and qualifed for the Regionals at Elementary as well as hacking out for many years. She is a feisty, bossy little madam and I adore her (though she makes a terrible face if I give her a hug).
