Well I do think that saying well and truely applies to this ;

This was Sol's first canter for 5 months under saddle .. I can't tell you how proud I am of this horse

I only wish the camera was on my face (well you can see exactly what I thought anyway!!!)

Oh and I don't want any comments on the fact she has draw reins on and that I'm going to ruin her etc etc .. they were put on her for 5 minutes to have a walk , trot and a canter at the end of the session just as a precaution because she was liable to explode.

I have more photo's of today that I will post later if anyone's interested?

Oh dear! When I first read the title of the post and saw the pic I thought it was going to be about unhappy looking horse in draw reins!

She looks a lot better in the vid though. Really pleased it is working out so well for you after all

She's actually got her ears back listening to me being very vocal about her cantering !

Yes well she's been lame since last August .. was diagnosed in March with Navicular in both front feet , arthritis in her left shoulder and a hock problem and I was told I wasn't going to ride her again ..

Mix of remedial shoeing , anti arthritic injections , a joint supplement and lots and lots of fingers being crossed!

She's not 100% still but she's alot happier and the vets are happy
