I dont know if u can see that but i have a hairy GV horse that im hoping to hunt , he looks amazing with all his mane and tail etc but its such a pain!
He's rubbed half of his mane .. due to sweat ( its quite thick ) so im taking him hunting in October and im not sure what options to do about clipping etc.. pictures of your horses before and after clipping would be much appreciated.
- Leave him hairy
- Trace Clip leaving mane tail and feathers intact
- Completely Clipped and Hogged
- Full clip leaving mane and tail out but taking off feathers
- Full clip leaving feathers taking off mane
These^ are the options for my horse's clip... i expect it to be quite cold weather so im not sure but i have rugs and i think he will be doing alot of hunting work over the winter.. opinions on clipping and what u would do appriciated.
sorry for it being so long ! also what months can u clip a horse ? x
