"Ex National Hunt" was a bit of a giveaway, too! :D
To be fair, I have little knowledge about racing so wouldn’t have known what that meant - but I can absolutely guarantee that I would have googled it/asked the seller what it meant - (also I would have picked up on it from the photos too if there was a racing photo in there!)

if I win the lottery I would open a yard and find lots of bears (my pony) for people such as you to loan to. I couldn’t have got him without help from family and I can’t “take a punt” cause I’m just too nervous for that sort of thing. So in my dream yard everyone will be the super gentle happy hacker without the price tag. What could go wrong ?

Thank you, Equi! That actually made me cry x

But the OP dealt with it with some elegance - rather than joyful superiority??
The buyer did expose herself by putting her side of the story, on a national forum, and people are just expressing what they think on that forum.
Well done to her for realising she could not cope with that horse, but perhaps she should be made accountable of how her lack of action can affect other people. If she posted on here, spoke to a friend, she can send a text, or get someone to do it for her.

You could argue that the buyer played a blinder (albeit a disingenuous one). Had she told the seller she had changed her mind, the seller would have been entirely within her rights to withold some of the purchase price (no deposit was paid as such but a 10% deposit is the norm so it could be argued 10% of the purchase price constituted the deposit.) when refunding. By doing it this way she's had all her money back.

The original buyer took a big gamble really. Lucky for them the seller was genuine and refunded. I don’t think the seller exposed them at all and it was a good question to put on the forum.

I wonder how many weeks/months it would have gone on for if the seller had not thought to use a different phone or posted on here?
