Ahhh go on then... weekend plans! :p

I did not even know it was bank holiday till Monday morning.

That is the trouble when they mean nothing to you in a job that is 6 days a week weekends working.

Meant to be here yesterday morning, then last night then today at 5:30am but missed the boat so then said 9am but of course I was up at 5:15am before I knew that, he's now phoned and asked if 10am suits me.

Does it SUIT me?! The. Mind. Boggles.

Wait, hang on I'll just pop to the shops, be back in two hours. See you then? Tsk.

Aww hello pebbles! What will you do with an undersized filly now?! Hope you have lots of fun with her. Hubby must be a bit put out hee.

I think he was a bit put out when I finally got hold of him to admit what I'd done - and when I told him what I'd paid for her I think he was expecting some manky desperate looking creature, so when we got to the showground I think he was pleasantly surprised with how nice she is and is quite taken with her now.

Don't know what I'll do with her - she's quite chunky and well built so I'm not too worried about her being a bit short. I'll back her next year and then see what she's like. OH is angling after riding my big gelding anyway so that might be a compromise :p

DabDab she looks very sweet, what a shock for the poor girl! Thank goodness she landed on her hooves with you.

FW, fingers crossed the 15 mins doesn't become a couple of hours..! Can't wait to see pics.

Thanks all. Well she's here. Bit upset when she came off as he managed to let two partitions smack her on the way down the ramp but she's extremely chilled. Very friendly. Loves being brushed (never had one that actively seeks being brushed before!). Couple of saddles look like they will fit her so it's all going to plan. None of the other horses have even noticed she's here because she doesn't neigh (bonus!) and she's just tucking into some hay and water now.

She's called Tullia and she's a 15.2 super cob. Let's hope she restores my mojo. Feeling very good about her so far.

She looks like a grand type, FW, and so chilled considering that she's only just arrived. I do hope that it all works out, you certainly deserve some good fortune.

Did you buy her unseen, or did you find the time to pop across to Ireland?

Bought her unseen but happily a HHO friend lives near by and knows someone able to vouch for the seller, who said she's 100% genuine. I reckoned if she's not what I want she will be easy to sell up here as big cobs are not common. Did think about flying over but decided I'm more scared of planes than cobs :D and felt fairly happy she would fit the bill. Also I'm much better at buying unseen than trying them out. Don't know why!

Thank you. So far so good. Have a ride on her tonight I reckon.

Get one it's good fun!

I was all set to clip all the fuzz off but I'm feeling strangely attached and I think psychologically, hair = safety, in my brain :D

I've got two lined up to view - just trying to sort timings and having second opinions! I've also got a B-list as long as my arm :D

I kinda like the fluff. It suits her!

NB - B list because they're less local, not because they're less attractive as ponies!

Yes it's basically spares buying season so if you haven't got 2 spares I suggest you get one!

Haha, yup, what she said - get on it Alex :D

Definitely keep the hair FW! I'm not usually a fan of bushy feather but hers definitely add to her curvy cobby look

We've got 3 bays and 4 Palominos and a buckskin so I think we're fine in terms of the cream dream team just now! Oh and also got a silver dapple belonging to a friend lodging as well and she's essentially a purple palomino! One bay hopeful going to be sold by the weekend as well!
