Id imagine because they felt hurt (rightly or wrongly) by the HHO bandwagon telling them they would never sell them a horse.
Oh, so it's something they've requested admin do? I feel very ignorant to how this place works suddenly lol - they also commented on this thread with their new username

I would think after your terrible experience with a dealer you wouldn't want to buy from one again, you have already claimed the horse was lame in the sale video but still bought it, maybe stay away from dealers once bitten and all that.

I don’t think you can request a change??

The attitude they displayed on this thread towards dealers was appalling imo. Yes there are dodgy dealers but there are also reputable ones. If you are going to go into a potential transaction already holding the attitude that they are attempting to pull one over on you, then no wonder they would run a mile.
I wish the op luck but in future perhaps they will try a more pleasant approach to sellers.

The OP has either requested to leave, or been booted out, either way, admin usually delete the name, so generic numbering kicks in.
If the former, I'm suprised they didn't ask for thread removal or locking......

Hi forget the I get bit, I did not see this when I posted, but the silly servant has now posted as her new user name on this thread, so we all know what the new user name is.
when your name gets changed by admin either because you've asked for it or because they have booted you, all the previous posts change to that name as well. it's only the quoted posts that retain the old name.

I agree, saying she's had it for a month is probably not true.
It was the fact that a few days ago she said she has nothing to sell yet then posted about a mare and said she'd had her a month that doesn't sound right.
But I now realise that she's probably had the horse 24 hours and didn't want to be honest about it.
Actually its very likely she has had the horse a month, most decent dealers get the horses in and test them out, school them and get them ready for sale, they will NOT sell them or advertise them as being for sale until they are completely sure of the horse and deem it ready. So the likely hood is that at the time you phoned the horse was not ready and therefore not for sale. 24 hours later she may have ridden the horse a couple more times and decided it was ready so posted the advert.
If she is a reputable dealer she will have no need to phone anyone back and wouold likely only do it for clients with whom she already has a good relationship, though those are more likely to have been offered the horse before the advert went online

To be honest OP you sound very very bitter and angry and I would not sell you a horse.

The lady was angry and accusatory (and a bit of a know-it-all), but I didn't see anything necessary for a banning.
