So, I got to the yard today at 5pm after work, expecting to find my boy in the field as I'd left him last night. Another livery checks him in the morning for me if he's turned out.
I was shocked to find he'd been brought in to his stable!? It was raining all day but he had a rug on so would have been fine in the field. His water bucket was empty, he had no hay, the stable was a mess with poo and wee and he was bone dry so had obviously been there a while.
I'm fairly new to the yard so asked around if anyone knew who'd brought him in or if it might have been YO. No one knew who had brought him in and they said YO never does this.
Now, fair enough, someone may have been trying to do me a favour by bringing him in but why not text me to tell me!? I also would NEVER take it upon myself to bring someone's horse in without asking them?
I'm worried he may have ulcers as it is and him standing in his stable for God know's how long with no hay has not helped!
