Awww, look at Mr Andy, all excited. And a little bit scared of the nasty wasty ball
He's looking fabulous now and moving nicely tooOnce he's learnt to contain the excitement and channel it into something useful he's going to be stunning!
Why not do lots of practise at home with a ball, because he will get used to it? I have THE biggest girls blouse ever who managed to carry a bloody great bit flapping flag on the Common Ride, depsite the fact the first time he saw it he pulled the tie ring out the tree and boltedWeeks of practise later and he went hacking carrying it
Get yourself some soft tennis balls and spend weeks chucking them at him, and school with a big stick in your hand. Then you could try again and see if he enjoys it more before giving up. It looks so much fun
P.s ignore the rude replies and don't let them rile you, then they'll go away.
Great decision to pull him out after giving it a goNice to see sensible heads on! I also think, though it is hard to tell, that he is looking a bit better weight wise, would be quite interesting to see a comparison photo now as he looks well.
shame you still cannot see an underweight/unfit pony doing far more than it should ATT.
Unfit? Underweight? I'm sorry but have you seen this pony in real life? He was the only pony to not get a sweat up today and not once did his breathing get heavy. And I think you'll find he is a good weight.
I think you need to stop being so horrible and stop making assumptions!
Ive heard he/she hides behind a big, grey boeard![]()

Have you any idea what a boeard is, Lady La La?![]()
well as long as that's all about me that's shocking! I won't get involved in a slagging match but karma is a b***h and being supportive and encouraging of others costs nothing... surely the point of this whole site?
Your spelling is shocking![]()
She's not that bad, I'm having great fun replying to her
Although, sadly I think I should stop as it's not really fair to OP to hijack her post..
OP - what made you take up Polocrosse? I was just talking today about how I wish I had known more about it a few years ago, think my 15.3hh would have loved it, think he's a bit old at 20 to take it up now though!
LOL
Of course, lets be supportive.
Even if it's detrimental.
Let's be supportive.
I don't think so, TBH.

At least there is such a thing as spellcheck.
As far as I am aware, there is not yet a programme available which can change a poisonous and disagreeable character into one representing a pleasant human being.

Koko Andy looks great...your regime is obviously working and the fact that he is so full of himself is testament to that! What is his breeding...to whoever claims no horse should have high head carriage there are some horses that just have this head carriage genetically....there are at least 3 current tb sires that throw them like this....it is to do with their conformation! If you did want to try him again one thing a friend of mine does with ex racers to get them to settle with the balls is start with a football rolled in stick coarse mix and get them to play/follow and desensitise them to the ball!
Good to see you getting out and having fun with Andy. You rode him well, I think it's great to try new things. Loved the video - thanks for taking the time to share it with us![]()
Thank youIts great fun to try new things even if they don't work out, I may try it again with him in a year or so once I know him a bit better

I always question those who like to publicly make points, maybe to boost their own ego, rather than to be helpful to the OP!! but there we go this is my opinion![]()
Lovley to see him looking so much better. Good luck with him in the future - we like seeing updates on him. Unfortunately, some people still can't stop the silly comments and judgements.
well done for giving it ago especially with that evil hoss eatin ball
as for all of the other tosh, If you have a serious issue with another members horse, is it not far more mannered to send your concerns via private mail!

It does look quite fun! Not something my little tb would allow i dont think though![]()
I love the 'spastic giraffe' trot! My mare does this when she's all in a tizz!
Polocross obviously isn't his thing thoughScary-ass ball!
Andy looks heaps better now, obviously doing all the right things! You look great together too!
Love to see posts about Andy, please ignore 'the haters' and keep me updated, I think he's a smashing little horse![]()
Hi, i seen your post before, when you got alot of critisisum when jumping! Were as okay he doesnt look to hot, how is he expected to put on weight - just like that - with winter grass? Wait till the spring grass comes through and heel be a different horse! Theres so much difference in him already since the last lot of photos! My friend had one like andy and he was thin, and she kept riding him hacking and stuff! And he did just fine! So just keep on what your doing! Its obvs not doing him any harm and just enjoy each other!!
Is that me? SorryI promise, I never normally do it, just need to get back to work - holidays make me all bored and mischievous.
