The oldest equine rescue in the UK, which has other retired Army horses, has offered to take them, according to at least one online article. There seems to be a petition running on Facebook to 'bring the injured horses to safety ' what ever that means! I think they want them out of the army and in a 'rescue' of some sort.
I'm sure the army has something place for horses who can no longer return to duty.
Have they actually said what the injuries are?The MOD have issued an update on Vida and Quaker and say they are both making progress but warned that the recovery process can be unpredictable. Fingers crossed for a full recovery.

I read it on my phone. LBC gave the update with today's date, so I am assuming it's true. No details.
Assumed or any proof. People assume a lot of things. bbc say still under vet care.I was talking to my farrier about this yesterday and he said he had assumed they’d both been pts because of the damage to their feet.
In the post I saw someone asked if any were the horses from this incident and the Horse Trust said no?Horses Trust has a video of the grey and some of the others turning up today for R&R.
The grey is now covered in mud not blood! But looking well.
