I've noticed that I've changed from reins to joystick but its inconsistent control wise. Also it seems based on time ill do a perfect xc round but be last as I'm slow but if I miss at jumps but quick I end up nearer the top. The ps1 game would work like eventing eg falls and refusals ill miss at jumps here because im rushing, no idea how some people fly round the sj!

I'm impressed with the graphics and its very addictive think my best placing so far is 7th

My absolute favourite game was Pippa Funnell: Stud Farm Inheritance. I will forever remember the anger that the quad bike chasing challenge used to cause me!!

That fudging quad bike used to drive me mad!

Those whose just said their horse took off with them when was it? I've just done a dressage and mine just galloped off nothing I could do to stop it yet done that dressage before fine.

It then refused to go on the xc, costing me 16 seconds if I hadn't had that i probably would be near the top. I've just done more than 1 dressage where it just galloped the whole thing I couldn't stop or anything

Was it an event you'd done before? I've been going back to the lower ones to get xp and try and get better placing but I can't as it just gallops round the whole dressage and I can't stop despite bashing slow down i can't execute any movements as its not in the correct pace.

To add insult to injury it then refused to go on the xc for 16 seconds

Wonder if its because our stats were deemed too high as the other people had even more rubbish horses than mine but then I doubt the same happened to them in the last event in the low level series as I was against people with way better horses hence why I wanted to do the low ones to try and win but it just didn't react

OMG I used to play this literally all the time (with the endless stamina & comedy falls activated of course... pretty sure there was a cheat that maxed all the horses stats out as well that I used to use!)... do any of the cheat codes work on the mobile game? Off to try & download it so I can be utterly useless again!

Haha love silly games like this. I still have all my old playstations and Nintendo’s (there’s even an Atari somewhere) I can’t ever bring myself to get rid of them incase I take the notion for playing a game.

I've reported a bug, I find any of the events I'm redoing to get xp, the dressage it just gallops off I can't stop despite mashing down button. The opposite for xc and sj it won't go for ages so no point continuing as its points based on time and I've wasted loads at the start.

I'm really enjoying the game but need to redo the lower events to get the xp to move up/ try and win them but it's making it impossible to move up. I don't get this the first "go" at an event just when I retry them.

A really long time ago and not quite as sophisticated as the eventing games, but did anyone else have the Barbie horse game? I used to love cantering along the beach and doing the adventures, especially the one about the mare and foal. Great times!

I've reported it, if you/ others who have it get the chance may be worth doing as it definitely seems a bug, even more infuriating is when it won't move on the xc/sj as it eats your time so there's no point continuing. Hopefully they fix it as I'm really enjoying it but that severely affects playability

How's everyone doing?

When its not running off im managing to string together a reasonable dressage test but keep messing up the timing on the xc plus how are some people so fast? I was leading after a dressage but missed xc plus the speed people go is forcing me into mistakes, they should all be your level.

Likewise sj, I'm not too bad at this, was in the optimum time of 1 minute whatever but some had done it in 30 seconds, how?

While its annoying at the time as you have to quit the event I completed closed the app after the latest bolting incident and it helped, I could even redo one of the low level events. I actually managed a 2nd but the person who won was so far clear it was ridiculous

I had the bolting issue once or twice, but completely closing the app helped for me too (also a cheeky "cheat": if an event isn't going well if you swipe up and completely close the app it will reset as if you'd not started the event!)
