Are your horses moulting?

Poppy is in full moult and her winter coat is coming through already.

Last year she had to be clipped end of September.

Yes! I got back from holiday yesterday and my Sec A colty that was smooth and golden dun when i left him was a lighter fluffier dun that was moulting!!

It's the daylight as nailed has said. Was a factoid in the kiddy section of BHS mag a few months ago!

Yep the 0ldmare who is 1/4 exmoor and 3/4 TB has just started. That exmoor bit of her makes her VERY hairy (think 15.2 Shetland pony!)

both of mine are moulting. my old boy only got his full summer coat a month ago!

Pharaoh has been moulting for the last 2 weeks

His neck and head are beginning to look really hairy but his body still looks like he has his summer coat. Hoping to convince my mum to get him clipped this year! Not sure if she will let me though.

Iv been cooped up with injuries

last time i remember a day with the horses it was barely summer! i finally get back out and either iv missed it or it never happened

Funny you say that, I noticed when driving into work this morning that the chestnut trees' leaves are turning brown. My natives are all moulting

I want those lovely sleek summer coats back!

yes my appy x and t/b are moulting i did not have to clipp until nov last year i think it will be earlier this year tho!x
