Meet Bon
He belongs to a lady I know (good friend of a good friend) who was keen to have him in a home with a bit more of a job than he had with her but as he's a little bit sensitive she was keen to make sure he went to the right person.
He's a very sweet, low mileage rising 8 year old - looks and acts more like a 4/5 year old. He sort of squirts off in canter in the arena, I think the wrong rider going to try him in a sales situation would upset him a fair bit. He's got a fair pop on him though, more than enough talent for anything I'd do.
His owner is more in to dressage than jumping now and rather than make a square peg fit a round hole he's come to live with me to see how we get on.
Its all a bit fairytale really (apart from that I have to pay bills and he's adamant that he's utterly starved)
He's pretty good hacking although he's unsure on road markings, double decker buses, speed bumps and roads changing colour ? urban life has certainly come as a bit of surprise to him.
The first pic is the cleanest he's been since he came on the day he arrived ??
I've gone from a 50% white competition horse to a 90% white one - what was I thinking ? however, a good horse is never a bad colour and he's a real sweetie.
Last pic is the result of being a bit full of himself schooling yesterday ?
