Plus exactly how many of the fences are we actually seeing?! 12 maybe 15? There’s 30 fences. It’s poor if you ask me. And it was bad enough last year.

Yes yes…easy for my on the sofa, but it’s been loads of them. I’d be royally told off if I did that in training.

I think it’s the payoff between fiddling or going for what’s there. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone actually pushing for a long. Hector excepted, but I think that was just an in the moment error.

I'm still a firm believer that getting a horse truly fit has been slightly lost since they stopped doing the long format (roads&tracks + steeple chase phases).
