Badminton 2025

I think quite a kind course for the horses... I know we've had a couple of injuries - the horse that ran into the fence, the one that fell, but nothing looked too awful. Riders all got up and walked away.

None of the fences were designed to trick the horses but they just haven't been straight to the fence or those corners!

Mine was too. Really jittery stop/start about every 5 seconds, this was on my laptop, it was slightly better if I turned the volume off. I finally managed to get it on the TV but then our internet went down twice for a while so missed quite a lot.
 
Playback is really sticky. Was working ok when I was watching live but I couldn't spend ALL DAY on the laptop, so am trying to watch it this evening. It's going to be a long night with all this buffering!!!
 
Couldn't watch during the day but all done and home shortly after 5pm to start watching but the CMH feed has been terrible. It jist keeps stopping and saying it cant play. Then it gives me a couple of mins, then stops again.

After 4hrs I managed to watch an hour of the coverage.

I have really good WiFi and I've got tried multiple devices and options but it just cant play.

Then I decided to see what would happen if I played the French commentary version. It is playing perfectly. Smooth, no stopping or buffering. Haven't got a clue what the commentary team are saying but I'm enjoying their enthusiasm.
 
Despite having been at Badminton today - I am now re-watching on CMH TV with no issues. Very strange 🤔.

But it was super busy, and totally suffocating in the shopping area. Was quite hard to get remotely close to any of the rider frighteners. Last time I do a Saturday!
 
Am losing the will to live with Clip my horse tv trying to watch recording of todays cross country. By the time it stops freezing the whole event will be over! Never had any issues with Badminton tv in the past. Think this will be my first and last year with clip my horse. So disappointing!!!
 
Last chance, I had Clip my horse on my tv for over 6 hours yesterday, it was absolutely perfect all day long, just the same as Badminton tv always was. It must be your connection not CMH.
 
Fine for me too once I found the charger to my laptop and connected that to the TV. Initially I was using the spare laptop that always sits behind the TV plugged in, but it was very sticky on there.

Hi @Chiffy like you I had great CMH Live streaming coverage from 11'ish through to the finish at around 5pm yesterday, with no buffering at all.

I wonder though if the problems that people have had in trying to view the "catch-up" XC coverage yesterday evening (ie. non-Live viewing) is down to some sort of under-capacity at CMH's end which couldn't meet the demand?
 
Mine was fine with no glitching, then I stopped watching at 3 to ride & do evening stables, then when I started watching again at about 6, it kept freezing every few minutes. So maybe as NH suggested, it was a capacity issue at their end from everyone watching it in the evening?
 
I've hardly seen any as have been working all weekend! 😬 Just caught up on this thread which has helped massively!
Sister had very few issues watching during the day yesterday but could get caught up last night at all.
