I ordered a muzzle 3 weeks ago and still no muzzle or explanation, I have sent an email asking for a refund but no reply-

Anyone else had trouble with this company?

I appreciate muzzles are popular at this time of year but 3 weeks is ridiculous!
 
I googled them beforehand and they seemed a good company so I'm sure it will be sorted, I didn't want to call too soon as I understand the muzzles are quickly running out of stock, but I do think it should be here by now...

Good to hear they haven't got a reputation or else i'd be worried !
 
I've had a similar experience. Going to ring them tomorrow as my e-mails are now being ignored. Shame as previous service has always been good :(
 
Is it the Shires deluxe?

There's been a supplier issue with Shires and everyone's been out of stock of most sizes. Delivery was due in last week but shipment is due into retailers early this week.

ETA disclaimer: is what I've been told, anyway!

Same here - never had or heard of any problems. However, no company can be 100 % perfect, especailly if it is out of their hands, eg. down to the delivery service.
 
It was a shires muzzle, not the deluxe version though (I think that's the sheepskin lined one? ) just the new design. So that would explain a lot if that is true. Just a bit of a pain as my horse is a good doer and sensitive to a lot of grass- needs muzzling or else he is on horsey rocket fuel! and stabling has a similar effect !
 
They are usually pretty good although part of my last order (a haynet!) took nearly a month to arrive. They had contacted me about it initially but they said I should have it within 2 weeks!
 
Just wanted to say that I got a very nice email from them yesterday explaining that there has been a problem with the muzzle shipment (as mentioned earlier on the thread) and that the muzzle will be with me tomorrow- thank goodness my horse is high on grass ! :o
