was looking at the results so far, not checking to much as it on BBC...but I am surprised with the German team with them doing so well in the eventing & dressage, they are way down at the moment, as are the dutch...GB are ahead of them both so far in the individual !!

I just feel he's (MT) too old school to do anything to attract new audiences. For instance Ian Stark during the eventing was telling us why fences were hard and what riders were having to do.

When the general popluace think we just sit there and the horse does all the work I don't think comments such as "interestingly enough this girl (she's usually well into her twenties/thirties" used to run a pig farm while holding down a second job as a lap dancer" (or whatever - you understand he didn't ACTUALLY say that!!!)
