Boggle- USA bound!

Thanks everyone! I feel really happy with the decision. The barn is not ideal (no lights, opening hours that don’t work for a early work schedule) etc etc for a proper in work horse but it’s doable for where we are at right now. And I feel so so at peace that he’s back living how horses should be, roaming with friends. I don’t think north CA climate gets much better as a place for a horse to retire if indeed he does fully.

It feels like a huge weight is off my shoulders somehow. For now, anyway :). I think I just basically gave up riding and I’m not sure I even care. Every time I see a horse for sale that I like I’m just reminded of the constant heartache. The many posts on here about horses that have gone wrong, rehab, vet work ups, etc. I don’t want any part in it right now.

Wish someone would buy one or both of my trailers though 🤣🙈

Honestly mate, I’m not surprised you need a break, whether that be temporary or permanent.

You have been so, so heartbreakingly unlucky through absolutely no fault of your own over the years since we met. A lot of good times too but I can completely understand how ‘over it’ you must be.

Atlas looks very happy in his fabulous new home and he has the chance of a normal horse life being in a herd … let’s hope you don’t need a muzzle and he keeps moving to keep the weight off
