Boggle- USA bound!

Wow! Just caught up and you've certainly been put through the wringer. I'm really glad none of it turned out as badly as it could have. Wishing you many quiet months.

I typed out a fairly long post recapping the… things of 2025. But, screw it, the only thing that really matters is where we ended up.

Against all odds Atlas survived 2025, and finishes the year happy, sound, eager to learn and verrrrry cheeky! Oh the glint in his eye. He is absolutely needing to get to work in 2026.

Thank you all for the support you have given, yet again, in all these crazy life turn of events. I hope you all have a lovely holiday season and for those where it’s tough, that you are coping as ok as you can be.

I am looking forward to heading to Florence for Christmas with OH, his parents and my mum. Last time I was in Italy which was earlier this year I was pregnant 💔, so I intend to fully make the most all that Italian wine this time, and prosciutto!

A couple of photos from the last few weeks to round off the year.

Merry Christmas everyone. Xx

Glad your 2025 is at last a bit calmer, hope 2026 is better( don’t think it could be worse!!). and you get to have fun again
Haha, worse than a miscarriage, horse nearly dying twice, dog requiring major surgery.. and that’s just the highlights 🤣. I’m sure the universe has more challenges in store!

Regardless, a hard year but an amazing year all the same. Merry Christmas to you 😊

Those photos are all stunning but that b&w on the beach needs to be framed in a gallery 😍

Happy Christmas and may 2026 be calm and uneventful!

Happy new year everyone! Just popping in with a few photos.

Atlas grew up a lot today. He had his first long reining session with the Swedish dressage trainer on site where she will be working him three days a week. She is firm but fair, sympathetic to their young bodies and he really rose to the occasion and seemed to love the new ask of him. It was quite exciting to see him flick his toes and really move like I know he can, he has quite the Spanish horse type of presence!

We’ve been doing lots of hiking and enjoying the mild winter weather in the sun. So lots of Pepper photos. We just spent a long weekend in a place called Mendocino, absolutely beautiful town in the middle of nowhere in Northern California. I have to admit that the state is growing on me…

And thirdly, the new addition who will be joining the crazy family in 4 weeks time!

Puppy pictures will of course be incoming :)

It’s possible I have a type in horses and dogs…

OMG you did not tell me about the puppy!!!!

Hahaha whoops I must have forgotten! We were on a list from a breeder who Druid recommended but sadly there wasn’t enough girls in the litter as we were last. But this one is sired by a dog that the same recommended breeder bred, so that’s kinda cool!

Sort of a loosely connected HHO puppy of sorts :)

Glad you were able to find a Bad Habit dog of sorts!

Lovely update pics, and so glad to hear you and all the gang are well 🥳
I love love love Mendocino, Carmel etc…northern cali coast is sooo beautiful. I didn’t want to leave!
Atlas couldn’t be any more orange if he tried could he?! Gorgeous boy looking so grown up now 😍
Pepper is going to love having a puppy to play with…oh the joys!

Lovely update! I am always happy to see an update on this thread. Atlas looks fantastic! Very smart little horse. I bet you can't wait to get cracking now. And wow, Pepper and that adorable puppy and magnificent countryside. All looking amazing.

Thank you everyone! It truly is so beautiful here. And very green right now with the rain. I really did not want to move here but now I’m pretty glad we did albeit I’d rather be in Arizona :)

I really hope Pepper loves having the puppy. We figured as she’s 6 now it’s a nice time whilst she’s still relatively young. She is still so puppy like herself!!! Fingers crossed she won’t be jealous.

No name yet, I loved Dixie but it has too many not nice connotations here which is a shame. We also kind of like Nyx, Skye, Millie….

Any ideas welcome! We want something outdoorsy and earthy I think.
