Having had a previous greyhound with bone cancer.
Lucy has me worried. She turns 10 tomorrow. Over the last few months she's been loosing condition and weight slowly, but there's suddenly been a very steep decline, followed by her having a very slight limp yesterday to barely wanting to move or weight bare on her front right at all. She's been going off food, but still eating. Tonight she had a mouthful and limped back off to bed
I'm taking her in to the vets tomorrow if I can get an appointment, there's no heat/swelling/marks I've checked paw pads/nails and nothing (she screams at the slightest thing) so I think it's up shoulder area but no obvious signs (prev boy had no signs until the cancer had spread and bone was starting to crumble)
I have such a bad feeling, will be needing all your vibes tomorrow for Lucy.
She's normally such a full of life happy hound and she's really struggling
