i can’t take any more of the excitement to disappointment when people comment on this!!😂

lilys neighbour is also due to foal, she’s surpassed her due date now and every evening i leave asking her to PLEASE pop it out tonight😂

And then the day of foaling- I would normally expect a bigger pH drop before foaling and her udder was very tight, not letting down much at all (and certainly not milk), but her behaviour told me she was ready (pacing the field, restless)

I hope your mare have a safe delivery, mare and foal is healthy. well done for keeping the mare and foal most people get rid once they find out they bought a pregnant mare .
