Bought pony in foal?!!

Yes but she won’t rest in the warm unless totally exhausted 😀 l had one foal inside at midnight once but then spent the rest of the night sitting up in bed matching them both on the cctv. In a way it’s easier if they foal at 4.00 am out in the field.
 
I was lucky with mine. We thought it was a week or so away then, for some reason, I woke up at 4am and just knew. I lived about 10 miles away, jumped straight in the car and arrived to find the YO running back from the field to ring me as she had also woken up in the early hours and just knew. Beautiful foal, born in the field, no assistance, already on his feet.

That was before the days of mobile phones unless it was a suitcase!
 
I hadn’t checked this thread for a few days and when there was 2 pages I’d not read I was sure I’d missed it.

I had to go through the search bar to find this thread, hoping to see a new baby! Hope for all concerned they turn up soon!

Coloured colt..in 2 days time, the 11th.
 
Well he is here!! Keeping check on the camera at work this morning and she was circling a bit 5 minutes later bag of waters hanging out - I was about 13 miles away ran out of work and totally broke all speed limits and made it to find baby out and placenta - little colt ❤️
