Just gone onto FB and seen this one go through. Nice looking horse but I felt tearful at what she was going through.

There's a few that surprised me they didn't sell. The dun mare did well

I don't understand why there are so many sellers from Ireland, surely it's not profitable to bring them over for the prices they're getting?

some made around 2k

The 16yr old same home his whole life just went through out of lot order went for £1500

They made good prices- smaller ones about £800, there were some smart bigger ones for 2k+

When one of the major fell pony studs dispersed the hill ponies many didn't cope and didn't last long sadly. I hope this lot get on better.

Cheapest was a 2yo at 550, most expensive was a flaxen liver chestnut 4yo at 2650. Stallion went for 1200. But only 7 have gone so far.

I can't bare to go to sales. And am not allowed to, come home with too many broken ones in the past

I'll be looking for another cob all-rounder in the autumn, hoping some of these will make it to my local dealers.

I've been watching the local ads for a while, all of them start at optimistic prices but usually cut several times until they're sold. Horse market is definitely stalling up here.
