Makes sense if they can get them at a reasonable price. Just been down a rabbit hole on Dragon Driving. Clydies go for crazy money, at least they’re asking crazy money unless they’re very young.

Shetlands make strong money at Brecon, not so much for old mares looking for a retirement home
Hopefully someone will pity buy the pair together.

Hopefully the Arab networks will scoop up the yearling filly.

Another fantastic looking horse! I had another discussion with my OH re not getting another horse and said I might do my CBT instead but he’s very concerned that I’m keen on a horse and how great it’s been for the dogs to have me home early. He, however, is retiring next year, so that wouldn’t be an issue!

The ridden sport horses never go for much money because they're assumed, quite rightly, to be dodgy. Buying anything ridden from a sales (especially if they've not even put tack on it in the ring, let alone ridden it!) is never a sensible idea. Great place to buy a 'blank canvas' though, and hedge your bets on whether it's already had a failed backing.
