Brecon sales Saturday

But there is a 13yo Suffolk mare.
Last year she was with her breeder, she had just had her third foal, a colt. Before that she was broken to ride and drive.
Somehow she has ended up at the auction 😒

I suspect she won't pass a vetting so they have sent her to the auction but why wouldn't you just contact the Suffolk Horse Society and they'd put you in touch with people...no idea why her breeder hasn't offered her a home.

Wish I hadn’t looked at the catalogue. I’m not too far from the riding school that’s closing near Lampeter and like the sound of lots 126 & 128. Half tempted to contact them direct before the sale to see what they are like and what sort of price they are wanting. 🫣🤫 Trying to work out which riding school it is.

Do it, the Suffolk was sold privately before going to auction, I reckon they'd be thrilled to have private sales rather than put the horses through an auction. Go on!

Oh lord, Lot 271, black Welsh D filly to make 15'2hh. Think I'm in love. Weirdly attracted also to a grey ID mare, identical to the one that did my leg in!

Yes and if you look at the bit they are driving him in (not the picture with the liverpool) he must have very iffy brakes/steering.
This the appleby mule? ;)

Haven’t been able to trace the riding school that’s closed near Lampeter so unable to contact the vendor of lots 126 and 128. Not to be I guess.
I was just looking at 126 and thinking he’d be a little cracker with some decent work. 😍 I’m such a sucker for a coloured.
