Wow! So they have a long standing history as a poster who claims a lot of experience, and then they pop up promoting Ricky Sawyer?! I can understand a novicey person being blinded by the pretty plaited ponies but unless your a bloody idiot you can spot lame horses in his videos. Even if for some weird reason you hadnt, you would still have known his name as a scumbag dealer just from posts on this forum alone! And supported by another long standing and "respected" poster! I absolutely despair

It was a memory of Tic Tocs video that stopped us buying a lovely horse earlier this year. Sellers didn't give their names and as the horse wasn't for me I hadn't googled the number before I left. Arrived 15mins early to see the horse being brought in, but they disappeared out of sight and wouldn't come to let us in through the gate for another 15 mins, even though they had definitely seen us arrive. They know their names are dirt as they didn't introduce themselves even when we all did. When they pulled the horse out of the stable it was dull eyed with no expression (even though all horses in stables had ears pricked). Every time anyone touched it it flinched away. It got smacked kicked and bullied out for a hack despite only being a baby, we had to tell them to stop. When their dogs started fighting the man went nuts at them and kicked one of them clean across the yard. The whole experience was disgusting and heartbreaking, I wish we had never gone as I felt so sorry for the animals. I googled the number when I got home after I'd finally heard themselves call each other Kate and Paul. That was enough to make us not give them any of our money. It's a shame as it seems like she's a capable rider and has nice horses but there is a horrible undertone of violent bullying.

?Not everyone's world revolves around remembering the names of dodgy dealers or the many, many, animal abusers who are posted about on this site.
If people wanted to out the poster then they should have done so, not made criticisms that were unreasonable if they were just any old poster, and then snipe at me for pointing out their criticism was unfair!

I didnt out anyone. You however were very quick to demand links to the horse in the OP and make veiled comments about trolls.
You were also very quick to support a poster promoting a dodgy dealer. If you have no knowledge of them, then perhaps you should educate yourself if you want to comment on posts about them

I had noticed that HG-12 hadn't been on for a bit, but assumed that she had thrown her toys out of the pram for the final time and stomped off to the 'other forum' that had much nicer folk on it than us lot on here

personally I don't have an issue with it as long as people don't pretend to be new... it seems like a lot of unnecessary hassle to set up new IDs etc but tbh it's usually easy to spot an existing user who has returned

Marshmallow was a troll who started a thread about buying a horse from a facebook auction in the hope of getting an argument going.
A previous poster with one of several new identities recommended rmarshmallow look at a site that they are personally connected with. Only some people on the forum knew of the connection. Instead of telling the forum about the connection, or simply saying the site was very dodgy, the poster was criticised for pointing out the site.
Two people pointed out this criticism was unfair and that they did not know themselves that the site was dodgy.
FrankieCob won't accept at anyone on the forum could not know the site was dodgy, and insists that any poster should check out a seller before pointing to any horse for sale.
Mixed in was a discussion about a horse called Tic Toc, owned by Popsdosh, which was sold to the dodgy dealers and then bought back after being badly treated.
Rmarshmallow is thrilled to have achieved his/her aim in setting up the thread, albeit not quite as they expected.
It's been quite a lot of fun!

For what its worth I dont think OP was a troll either the questions seemed genuine and logical. I think everybody else has gone overboard since Ricky was mentioned and not by the OP. I thought the Troll argument was aimed at Tyssandi?HG-12? or whoever they are now.
However I guess OP may be slow coming back after stirring up the playground antics

I know TYSSANFI and know she isn't connected to the dodgy dealer. Not sure what has happened to this thread but do despair that it is now considered OK to buy a horse from an unregulated Facebook auction.
