E19 - just seen your pic she is lovely I think my boy will end up with the same colouring was she darker and has greyed out?
GCG - aw he looks like he has a great personality and a very pretty and unusual colour - I don't think I have seen that variation on a connie (and I have looked at 8 different grey coloured ponies this week alone!)
Una- thank you. Hope I have as much fun over the yrs as you have had with your boy.
KS - thank you for that reassurance I was looking for temperament above anything else - it would be nice to be able to go out in the high winds and not be ejected (I love my TBs honestly). I saw so many nice connies I could have easily bought 6 of them - you are so lucky you have 14 (though I don't envy you having to groom them if they are all grey!). What do you with them? And do you have any pics and stats you can post?
Trix98 - I agree with those sizes as seems to be the consensus here. Thanks for posting those pics - I totally love Bird and her grumpy little face and angry ears (I like the grumpy ones I find them so amusing when they put on the evil pony face!). The foals are adorable too, makes me really want a foal next time. I am a total (re)convert to the breed though I might change my mind next wk! What do you do with yours?
P79 - do you know the breeding of your pony and your YOs? I have recently been reading up on the breed lines so interested to see what various offspring look like.
SO19- vet didn't think he would make more than 14.2hh and I don't mind if he does or doesn't - anything under 15.2hh is a pony for me! A few producers were interested in him as he would have qualified for all the junior classes this summer and offered seller more for him but seller didn't want him going to a professional jumper. He should do well showing but that's not my thing really. There were loads between the 13.2hh - 14hh mark but of course they are snapped up by professionals for the season as they can be sold on for 15k if they do well. If he is everything th say then he is a complete bargain - you can't put a price on something that makes you happy! Except may 136m winning the euromillions!
