Yep, I saw one for £500, big TB, poor doer with feet so bad it had to be shod even though it couldn't be ridden.

We have 2 companions at the yard like that. One has always had poor crumbly feet, the other has mahoosive dinner plate feet that splay badly when not get in check by a few clips around the shoe. They are only shod in front, not behind.

Not ridiculous perhaps, but a rad over-stated???

Post 1 = complaints about no rosettes at GOBE. Fair enough, I imgaine it would be disappointing if you entered to give BE a go and actually placed.

BUT omg the replies 🤣

* Utterly disgusting
* I mean why bother even going.

And my favourite:

* My daughter works so hard and is super ambitious and wants to go up the levels even though we aren't made of money. So unfair. (Crying emoji).

Wait what? Your ambitious, hardworking daughter has decided the slog of making it an eventer is not worth it, if she does not get a frilly? 🤷‍♀️

I saw one today that described what sounded like a lovely pony (with pics complete with happy child), until it stated in capitals at the bottom that it’s sold from the field as a project. Price is as untouched but handled 3yo, it’s 4 and has apparently been ridden just fine by a child…until the confusing capitals. The reader is left wondering what happened that the capitals were added and the ad not rewritten to match!

14 year old 'gorgerous mare' sold from field has have had not time for post 18 months. Doesn't like dressage or SJ. Very strong XC. Can't cope with comp environment. Jogs and spooks hacking. But other than that absolutely perfect - you can ride her in a head collar.

Ride her in a head collar doing what exactly?

Another very tall person - this pony is meant to be 14hh

I saw one on Instagram recently announcing "we've just measured him and he's 20hh" accompanied by a video showing him with a woman giving him cuddles and the top of her head being level with/slightly above his withers. I had to DM to ask how tall the woman was as unless she's an international basketball player this is probably not the case. the answer was "5'11" but they're on a bit of a slope and we definitely measured him properly." Umm... no, you didn't!

To be fair after years of riding bloody massive horses anything below 16 hands looks tiny to me now. I was riding a friend's horse for a bit and I was telling everyone that it was tiny at about 14 hands and she corrected me that he was 15.1 or something!

Not on public view on fb. We have 2 horses looking for homes. Someone messages asking if they are mares of geldings - if they read the post the would know. So the boss replies and says both geldings what do you want to do with a horse. Person replies - eventing, a bit of everything really. So the boss says we have a 2yo Filly but won't be ready for eventing for a while yet. They reply with 'is it on the way there or just not an option at all." Yeah. No. Your not having a horse mate.

I didn't read it like that, not sure why anyone did. I thought what she wrote was quite plain. " Will muck out, groom, exercise, love etc and provide financial contribution to treat like our own."
