Because the Daily Fail and Channel 4's upcoming sequel! Bring it back into the public domain! With completely biased journalism, sparking debate as the coverage is not a balanced view! Not the fault of the public here commenting......

Some people may support a charity which aids paying for animals who's owners cannot afford them, such as the PDSA, who's remit is to aid veterinary care for those who cannot afford it. The RSPCA is a different charity and it's remit is to prevent suffering, which it did by taking him to court, after failing to solve the situation any other way, to prevent any more horses suffering at his hands...

Yes his story is a sad story, but putting him in the limelight was not the answer and has not helped him in anyway, so in that case surely the supporters, "friends" and channel 4 are as guilty of his 'disappearance' as anyone???

For the poster who wanted to know how long the RSPCA has been prosecuting, I can't find the exact date of their first prosecution, but to give you an idea of the length of time, they brought 63 offenders before the court in 1824, so i believe the handful of tragic outcomes highlighted by the Daily Fail is brought into a more balanced view, when you consider this length of time!!???

I have heard his name in relation to all this very recently. Is he by any chance the neighbour of CD who used to walk the land and make sure all was well? Or not, as the case was more likely to be.
 
Ladyinred no that was someone else, pm if you want the name, that person had his posts deleted when he asked about the donations as being nothing to do with Clwyd.

John Carter or JC as I will refer to him came from Staffs and you have to say it was very good of him to take the time to join up and make one post pointing out the error of our ways. The fact that he then went and deleted it shows he thinks we are beyond redemption.:(

Thanks for that, it has been niggling at the back of my mind for hours now!

If being beyong redemption means not being able to find a lot of compassion for a person who neglects their horses on a regular basis and admits to it in court, then bring it on, thats fine by me. I would rather languish in the fires of hell than compromise my beliefs because of what John Carter and his ilk believe of me.
 
John Carter would not know the equine community if it sat in his front garden having a picnic, what a stupid thing to say on a horse forum - not very bright is he?

Anyway, au contraire JC, only substitute laughing for banging heads on walls, most horse people have now got huge lumps on their foreheads.

What an odious little creep!
