Just out of intererest - no plans to breed at present!
I often joke about crossing my Warmblood mare (AES) with a Highland pony. To which someone gave me the words of wisdom 'what, so you can have a mental AND stubborn horse'
I love Highlands as much as I do warmblood / sports horse types as grew up with them and would like to add a highland to the family again one day.
As above I have no plans to breed let alone cross my horse with a highland but out of interest, and only out ouf interest(!) (as I do joke about it to friends) has anyone any experience or knowledge of highland pony crosses like this?
My other out of interest point would be I imagine it might cause some errrr comments from some to cross an AES registered horse with a native / highland. But maybe it does happen and I just don't heard about it...
Just curious not a serious proposition!
