What do you wear to the yard? I feel my equestrian wardrobe could do with an overhaul, I’m sure I’m about 10 years out of date!
Inspire me! ?

The yard is where gear goes to die, so I re-use retired mountaineering clothes until they fall to pieces.
I'm always puzzled by people wearing decent stuff, especially the kind of fabric that hay clings to. Surely horses can tell it's new/nice and make a point of dribbling on/or rubbing their filthy itchy head all over you?
Do you mean just a t shirt ? I hope they are long or your fields are not backing on to s housing estate or the M1. If it's the M1 it would explain the high number of r t C's lolCurrently just a t-shirt to catch them in in the morning at about 6.00 am(horses are kept at home) and then when I get up properly later in the day it is shorts and an Ariat top (technical sport fabric). In winter it is old jogging bottoms with a ski shirt and fleece. I put breeches or riding tights on to ride.
I overhauled my riding wardrobe when I bought my mare and was able to start riding again. I used to always look scruffy and badly turned out, but I’d like to think I mostly look okish now.
On riding trips, breeches, long colourful socks with fitted tops/jumpers/gilets. Brands wise I’m partial to Ariat, HV polo and schokomole but only ever buy anything when it’s on sale! I also have some smarter primark jumpers and tops in amongst them.
No riding days the breeches are swapped for jeans, but everything else is much the same.
This! I only go to a yard for RDA volunteering, but I wear charity shop trousers and my oldest jumper.
