Do you think your horse will start coming in soon??

4 stables already, but if the weather eases off a little end of Sept, if not next week or two

Awwwww, sorry to tell you this but don't think whether getting much better :( i can see myself getting my stables ready soon. My one (TBxID) has started coming in as he was dropping weight at night so he already in but others will be in soon! My mum ordering winter supply of hay so that will be here next few days and then just got to order pallets of shavings!!

NO!

Not mine anyway, they won't come in at all, I have more horses than stalls and they are filling up with horses who actually pay for the privilege, so mine will have to tough it out;)

Mine still out 24/7 have just started putting on a l/w rug at night. They will be out until at least end of Sept. They are all cobs & its only getting down to 10/11 degrees at night here & they have plenty of shelter with the trees & hedges. I went to get them in this morning as thought they might want a rest from the wind & rain & was totally ignored & they kept munching in the middle of the field. We still have an awful lot of grass though. Its still knee deep in the bottom field which we will prob let them into in the next few weeks

Mine were in last night and the night before.....they are out tonight as it feels much warmer, but it wont be long before they are in full time....

Genie will be clipped in 3 weeks, but I will aim to leave her out until the October half-term. Titch will be out until the YO says they have to come in, which will be December time.

Yeah, natives can take it more than wimpy TB's (not saying all TB's are wimpy :p)

They have shelter so they happy x

QR Mine will come in Oct 1st as that is when the YM has said that we are no longer allowed to turn out 24/7 this will be until April dependant on weather etc. This is the first yard I have been on with rules like this but TBH it is for the greater good. Our grazing is fab and we want to keep it that way. It also means that everyone knows where they stand and no horses are left out on their own.

Maisy - Awwww bless x

Jennifer - hehe yeha. Depends on the type of horse you have i think.

Fihunt - Awww bless, it's already clipping season

Laafet - Yeah thats a good idea, my old livery was like that and we always had brilliant grazing threw out the year. I know many liverys who suffer with bad turnout in winter! x

Mine will be out until Christmas, with ad lib haylage or hay when the grass has gone. I prefer for him to be out as much as possible (with good rugs) and he thrives on it, although in the worst of the winter he will be in at night.

I always know when he's happy to be out again at night in the Spring, as he stops coming to the gate when I arrive in the evening.

shes already stabled at night but they still get put out everyday through winter :)

upto us if we want to leave in but unless its literally a bog they have to spend a couple of days in.... other than that they are out.

love the yard :)

Mine is in all year round, she likes to go out for a bit during the day but no matter what time of year at coming in time is waiting by the gate pushing her nose through her headcollar and marching into her box as fast as she can. She likey her cosy bed!!!!!
