We were diverted due to the incident on the M25 so ended up going a different bit of the woods that I haven’t been to for ages. It’s very steep in parts!

We were quite bold today. I'm having a lot of joint pain so was afraid to venture too far and Mr AP is away for the day. So we went to the small dog park because there were dogs in the big dog park including an uncivilised great dane puppy who we've met before. Tbf she is on the cusp

Here she is sniffing for my keys, I thought I might teach her something useful as I'm always losing them

Hopefully will manage a nice walk in the woods tomorrow and Mr AP will be back to help if I'm still flaring.

Yesterday, Cecil watching the big dogs picking up on the last drive.
He longs to be a Labrador and allowed to join in.

Definitely does! He started sitting like it as a puppy and now it’s his go to sit. The standing started later but he has admirable core strength

We got up early today to go over to the local hills and watch the sun rise. Timed it almost perfectly .....aaand left my phone in the car

That looks very familiar whereabouts in Herts? I know woods all look alike but i'm from Chorleywood originally and used to do lots of different walks around Herts

It's Whippendell, the house is at the bottom of the slope on the left.
