Me and @Clodagh went for a walk today, I picked a ridiculously steep route! We took a dog each and had a good lunch in The Cleave in Lustleigh afterwards.
RIP Mr Decoy Heron. I discovered today that he’s been washed away by the floodwaters from Storm Babet. Who knows, perhaps I’ll find him if I walk downstream instead, one of the days. I’ll sort of miss himMy most frequent dog walk route… this decoy heron has been there for about 3 months now and I STILL jump at the sight of it every single time I walk past it

Oh wow! Where are you?The snow has come as forecast... it's been a brisk -11 today already so we are suited and booted until its a few degrees warmer.

Haha - we have found ours on the dining table because of doing this [face palm].We used platform training as part of Ada’s impulse control, now she regularly puts herself on anything raised - luckily she doesn’t do it inside!

Yes, and this is just the warm up act. This will probably melt on the paths around our village and then when the real stuff comes in November/December, it will fall by the foot. We don't get that much rain through the summer months, so the snow is most of our precipitation for the year.Wow, so much snow already @Chucho ️
