You leave your horses in for the night....because the weather is supposed to be not very nice....and it really does go horrid and you know they are all snug in bed stuffing there faces out of the wind and rain....

Just wonder how the foal will react to having a night in he hasnt been in (overnight) since he was born so could be giddy in the morning

I kept mine in last night, only because she's just been clipped and I have no neck on her rug, but have subsequently decided to start bringing her in every night as the mud has started and she gets bad mud fever so determined to bring her in before it starts. I fully intended to put her back out last night but she's been dropping those hints, you know, coming over to the gate at night, and then just standing there when you put her back out. Last night she trotted over to the gate and when I put her in her stable for her tea, she finished it and started eating her haynet, and she seemed so happy, I couldn't bring myself to put her back out. So she's in now. Now starts the hard slog!
