So sadly after 3 refittings Ive sadly come to the conclusion that my made to measure Albion Revelation dressage saddle is never going to fit my mare. This is really disappointing as Ive only had it for 18 months and its a lovely saddle but I dont think its ever really fitted well and now relations have completely broken down with the saddle fitter, Ive spent nearly £1,000 on adjustments and Albion are completely disinterested. As a result Im about to start the hunt for a new dressage saddle and wondered if I could get some suggestions.
My mare is an ISH (half TB) event horse, compact with good confirmation so despite the nightmares with my Albion is straightforward to fit. Ideally Id like a monoflap thats reasonably lightweight and my budget is around £3,500.
