I listed a running martingale (new just tried on horse) bought for £45 at HOYS and a saddle cloth bought at HOYS, but it's still in bag with tags, £15 from HOYS.
A woman bid on both items, won them, I posted them , she received them and promptly open a case against me stating the martingale is not as described and saddle cloth has stitching that's uneven, saddle cloth was only cheep, she won it for £5 and martingale she said the rings had signs of tarnish on them and punched holes in martingale were unevenly spaced , she won that for £19. So she had £60 worth of new tack for £24 And £3 post. She is willing to have a refund of £ 10 !!!! So she said... Well I never saw anything wrong when I bought them, they just don't suit or fit my horse, I am sure the saddle cloth don't have bad stitching, but you get what you pay for it was only £15 new. I can't say I examined it with a magnifying glass! I asked for them to be sent back, and I will refund, thats when she said she would take a part refund, but i said no send them back, now eBay said she can keep them and I must just accept the decision, my funds are frozen anyway, I can't acces it, and she will leave bad feedback, I have been told to refund her by eBay, this is week 3 of arguing with eBay, I am thinking its just not worth the hassle .. Any one else had this sort of thing, I feel I am going to have to refund in full and just accept I have been done over by her and eBay, they really don't seem to help sellers, just buyers.
