I think its easier to say that if you like it though. I'm fat and metabolic and have spent all afternoon sick, dizzy and throwing up. Despite having a ton to drink and electrolytes. Heat like this is absolute misery for me. I have to go to work all day in a portacabin and I have no idea how I will do it.

Exactly had to sit outside earlier for OH family thing and it was hideous, the sun was blazing down with no escape

Back in my bat cave inside, dreading tomorrow. Least if its cold you can do things to warm up

On my way back from the yard it is actually nice outside now. Had a quick ride on Bert at 7pm he was not impressed at all but kept it very short and slow.

My colleague and I are in the office with the blinds down we are wearing shorts but we have not needed the aircon on yet. I suppose that is the difference between the type of buildings I am on floor 2 in the office and live on floor 2 in a flat but office is not boiling hot but flat is.

I had an appointment at St Bart's hospital today and that has a central square with a fountain and tress and benches. It just emphasised to me how just natural additions like water and tress create a cool environment because it's lovely and fresh there.

I did not ride today due to age plus bp intensifying heat. And heeding dire warnings from NHS about old people risking heart attacks. But if I dont exercise I get unfit and put on weight and I am soppy sentimental about the horse and miss her. I once tode at an RS that did evening hacks in summer when it was cooler.

Mum not been feeling well due to the heat and so I have been suggesting cold shower before bed and also opening the window to get some fresh air in.
