Thank you Ebony is a bit of a star but I would say that !
I am stunned at the amount of wonderfull comments people have made I thought it would be half a dozen at most and I am amazed this morning that every one is still reading this and saying such lovely things I really am just a Very Ordinary Girl, with a very SPECAIL Horse
You are a truely strong person and if anything should ever happen to any of us (praying it doesn't) then I hope we could all get up and get on with it like you have.
Those moaners on here, maybe you'll take a good look at the stupid things you whinge about and realise there is always someone that has had it worse than you.
I'm sure you'll be back jumping and cantering around soon, think positive even on the bad days, turn the rough into the smooth.
Contact Help for Heros I know they have some guys that have lost limbs that they have been teaching to ride, maybe speaking to them could inspire you and them even more.
xxxxxxx
QR - I just wanted to say you are am inspiration. I remember watching something on TV about riders with disabilities and there was a girl who lost her lower leg n she had got a leather maker to make a stirrup leather that had a pocket that the "stump" would sit in. Have you tried contacting the people who deal with the paralympics?
Again if anyone knows of an above the knee amputee would love to talk to someone else for any form of help they could give me thanks
