Well I'll have to have a look now just to see the ones everyone else likes 😂

Oh poo, as usual no.5 hill bred 20 yr old mare , why do they do this 😐
Because they aren't keeping weight on the hills through the winter and need to go to better grazing.

Lot 4 for me. I'm very familiar with some of the ponies in her pedigree.
I can't afford another pony...but I wish I could.

I know someone who had an older mare who'd come off the fell as she needed an easier climate. She coped with the climate, but what she couldn't handle was not breeding any more. She only knew how to raise foals, and that's all she wanted to know.

Anyone else watching? Lot 26 that I liked went for £1350 I think.

The Wansfell foals were very young...only 4 and 5 months according to the catalogue.

Only two forward in the Fells 4 years and over. Top price was 6500 gns and 4800 in the 3 year Olds.
Shetland prices seemed to be quite good, dales seemed to struggle today, normally prices are much higher.
The show was won by Greenholme Quintessential a yearling colt. He only made 1600. reserve was Dalewin Zara who sold for 2200.

I was watching at work with the sound off but looked like Hermits took several back home with them. People looked to be bidding so assume they didn't reach the reserve.

Loved the ponies forward from Syltina stud.

Yeah they took a load home again. The Shetland prices weren't as good as the other sales but prices were OK.

The prices of some of the Fell ponies were shocking! 400gns for Colt foals. I wish I had gone now. I probably would have brought a couple back 😂

Did anyone get the Shetland prices?
If you go on the registered fell pony group on Facebook a marked catalog has been scanned of the Shetland prices, you need to be a member to see it. If you aren't and there's a certain one you want to know I'll find it for you.
Prices approx 120 for some colt foals to 2000 for stallion Hermits Inky Black. Some mares 1000+

Marked Fell pony prices also on group.

Yeah I saw the results on there. I haven't had a fell pony for years but I still love them and will get another one day so I am on the groups 😂
