Well I am absolutely hanging... nephew woke me up at 5 this morning... Anyhow, had all my stables mucked out and left on time, the classes were HUGE, so am very very pleased with Genie.
First off was the 2'6 pairs. We had a blast and went clear. Her pony is quite nappy so we were lead horse, but they were thrilled when their pony overtook us a few times. I met skewby and her gorgeous horse before our round, and was thrilled with Genie who despite being rather strong flew round, and we went clear, coming 6th out of 34.
Three of us getting pony ready... you can just spot my leg....
Ready to go... You can just see my second youngest nephew (I have 4 nephews, 2 staying this weekend) in his halloween mask!
Having a break in a boggy bit in the pairs
Our 2'6 individual was about an hour later, so we both had time to recover! Genie again flew round clear, and we came 10th out of 32. Couldn't quite believe how quickly some people went despite horrible ground... I had studs and took it steady!
Ready to go...
Same boggy bit as before, having a break
Taking a flyer over a hedge that has a ditch in front of it
The pro pic I bought
I am so so proud of my pony. She's taken me since the beginning of summer this year from being worried about a 1ft cross pole to doing these 2'6 classes and having a blast. Definately my one in a million horse.
