I think it’s just a general presenting thing that people have to be very shouty these days. Then you get the lovely Richard Hoiles showing how it should be done.

The balance and coordination there to pull him back into the saddle was amazing. Wouldn’t fancy trying it at a trot, let alone racing speed in a racing saddle!

Think they were fine. I also think Jordans would have won but for the two fallers - he was badly hampered and lost all momentum and way more lengths than he was beaten
 
I'd love to see Appreciate It win today - what a fantastic horse he is - not sure he'll stay but....

I have intense raffles on the itv sweepstake

I think the almost hurdles they've turned the fences into and the going is a nasty combination, at least when the jumps had to be respected, the pace was slower, even the foxhunters looked to be fast

These starts are embarrassing, they are coming from too far back, are the jockeys getting told off or anything for it? In f1 the drivers get a penalty if they false start


They're coming in from too far out

Chestnut in orange was lined up nicely when he could have let them go, but ended up doing a turn and got compromised as a result

It’s like watching the scrums in rugby a few years ago. Boring and ruining the event.
I had Regents Stroll and Funiculi Funicula in that race. (First because I always back Harry, second because Dad had the song at his funeral, he loved it).
So I’m quids in there. Fairly gutted the horrible man won. Mark Walsh is ok though 😃
 
I have had a little on Hewick would love to see him win.
I’m surprised Meydan isn’t getting any coverage, some nice horses running there today and the Dubai World Cup is on later.
