Looking fabulous! Is this just good food and exercise?

Yep, just good food and exercise. His old owners used to pump him full of treats (think, leaving a bowl of them on the floor for him to snack on). Plus giving him half her sandwich, cake etc daily…. Plus not great food.

I am beyond thrilled on how he looks.

He no longer lumbers, but trots. And is a regular speed demon on the beach ?

Would you like Bear for a couple of months?! He’s gone on a strict diet.

He looks amazing and really proud of himself! It's not easy getting weight of a dog but so worth it for their long term quality of life. Give yourself a pat on the back :)

AmyMay he looks fantastic!
Do you know how much he lost? (May have missed that somewhere?)
Jess collies first year weight loss when I got her was probably about the most satisfying dog moment ever.
The difference in energy and soundness to her was unbelievable. I’d imagine you feel the same! ?

He was 15.5kg in April last year. He’s now just over 10kg.

Hugely satisfying, I agree. And it’s not been difficult tbh. He’s not a ‘foodie’ surprisingly- unlike Daisy who thinks she’s starved ?

Three meals a day, the odd treat.

He’s now sound, after exhibiting the odd bit of hind limb lameness which vets attributed to his weight. Like Daisy, he’s on Yumove as a support.
